My cell phone is out of commission for the day. Add Comment Dr. Teresa Hairston - A True Historian 02/01/2011
We had the opportunity to have Dr. Teresa Hairston, founder and publisher of Gospel Today Magazine and the Gospel Today Band on our show. I was so excited to have her on board to share her story, which is a similar story shared by may pioneers throughout history. Dr. Hairston's strong presence gives you a sense of how she came to be who she is and also tells that her faith is the motivator, not any of us. She will have The Gospel Heritage Praise and Worship Conference on February 17-19, 2011, in Jacksonville, Florida. For details and information please visit Gospel Today or GHF. The event is open to all and is NOT a concert. Dr. Hairston, thank you for coming on board and sharing this information. A personal thank you for allowing me the opportunity to learn from you. I wish you much success and hope to see you soon. It was and always is a pleasure doing Paradigm Shifters with Steve Duncanson, I re-learn many of the skills/keys to forward progression for my life. For instance, on Saturday, January 22, 2011, he gave us 7 step to achieve a goal. Now, I can reiterate them for you, however, I prefer you listen to the show so you can hear them for yourself. In the meantime, I will operate under the old adage "practice makes perfect". Until next month. We'll be listening for you. I Have A Dream... 01/18/2011
As we come off of a wonderful weekend filled with remembering the accomplishments of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we need to be reminded that his efforts were not for just one day. He LIFE was dedicated to helping the voiceless get heard, allowing the needs of the less fortunate become issues that must be addressed. Here we are in 2011 and the same issues still stand. Although we have come to make some remarkable strides in history, we have in many ways taken 300 steps backward. My guests on Satuday, Januayr 15, 2011, painted the picture of Dr. King's Dream. Two indivuduals, Jeff Redd and David M, in an industry that is so multitudinous you would never know that they were conveying Dr. King's message. If you listen to the show, you would know that each had a dream that they did not defer. They each were able to overcome the nay sayers, setbacks and some really high stumbling blocks to come to you today with a story, a testimony, a lesson that you should learn. As I reflect back on the two interviews, I have to say they both taught me something. Yes, I learn from each guest. Never give up. Listen to that voice from within, it is directing your path, your predestined path and share your dream, out loud. If you want to contact Jeff Redd please go to his webpage "The World of Jeff Redd" and David M http://www.davidm4000.blogspot.com/, " www.davidmmusic.com". Each can be reached on "Facebook". Take some time out to check out their music. I really enjoyed having them on the show. Thank you to Double XXposure, Jeff Redd and David M. Once again Steve Duncanson provided some seeds for serious thought. He spoke about honoring our elders and the importance of having our elders continue to set future goals. He was having an important even later that evening and you could hear the pride and humility he felt in being the MC for his mother's 80th birthday party. What a wonderful honor. His message was simple...never stop dreaming. Hope you had a wonderful celebration. Thank you for taking time to share this important message. Adarsh Alphons Project, Inc. 10/11/2010

On Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, we had Dr. Carol Penn join us again. The topic was "bone health" for all ages. What we discovered was the fact that we overlook many aspects of our body functions, I guess, believing that what we don't see is working without our help. That rule of thought is way off base and could interfere with us being able to live a long healthy life. She explained that your health is in your hands and by eating a proper diet rich with green leafy vegetables, grain, nuts, fruits, coupled with daily exercise is a wonderful foundation for a good healthy life. She also mentioned that men are at equal risk for developing bone maladies as women and they too must adhere to a good daily diet and exercise regimen. So much information was shared that you need to hear, please check out the show. Thank you Dr. Penn for your easy to understand instructions for living a healthier life. James Nials a.k.a. Flawless of Flawless NYC 09/06/2010
I bet many of you thought I forgot to mention our trip to New York to visit an exceptional barber, James Nials. No, not at all, you see, the hope was to get back to him in a week or two to do a follow-up show with images of his skills. Well, we are in the process of making this happen. Until that time, I would like to share the fact that we had a wonderful time and great conversation with this ambitiously strong person. The way he began his business in itself is a testament to having a positive mindset and believing in yourself. We will be back with more of James Nials and we will have some shots of his work to back it up. Thank you James a.k.a. Flawless for your time and wisdom. See you soon. Timmy Allen - A Career Still Unfolding 08/29/2010
On our show yesterday Timmy Allen joined us to discuss his career in the music industry. Although his amazing career has taken him from being a bassist in a r&b group to becoming an industry executive,, he still has more to do. The ease at which we are able to just chat about many of his amazing accomplishments gave me a better understanding of an industry that I have limited knowledge. The wonderful part of the whole discussion what his willingness to be a mentor to his son, T-Breezy and other up and coming artist. It is very rare that someone of his caliber is willing to give back in this manner. With that in mind, if you want to contact the wonderful man here is the contact information: STVLTB6@AOL.COM. It was an honor and a pleasure doing this interview. | Aurelia's SenseI dream a dream where we understand that we don't own the world, we are only tourists...let's enjoy its beauty. |
